WCYB's Chief Meteorologist Dave Dierks visited the 3rd and 4th grade classes today to share his knowledge of weather and the profession of meteorology. Mr. Dierks performed a number of experiments with the students to demonstrate the effects of air pressure, precipitation, and high pressure systems. The students also enjoyed reading a weather forecast that was generated with WCYB's advanced meteorology equipment. Thanks to Dave Dierks for taking the time to educate our students.
