WHAT: KCS Selfie Scavenger Hunt in Conjunction with ETSU - Allandale BucFest (Fun Fest 2017)

WHEN: Thursday, July 20, 2017, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

WHERE: ETSU - Allandale, 1501 University Boulevard, Kingsport, TN

In conjunction with ETSU - Allandale, Kingsport City Schools is hosting a KCS Selfie Scavenger Hunt during the week of Fun Fest 2017.

Between Monday, July 17, and Thursday morning, July 20, participants that travel to at least ten (10) of the fourteen (14) Kingsport City Schools and take a selfie at a designated location will be eligible for prizes. Participants in the KCS Selfie Scavenger Hunt may bring their photographic evidence to ETSU’s Allandale campus (1501 University Boulevard) for verification on Thursday, July 20, ETSU - Allandale during BucFest between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Participants with at least ten (10) photos verified as authentic may enter a drawing for one of two grand prizes.  One grand prize winner will receive a pair of upper deck season tickets to Dobyns-Bennett’s 2017 football home games.  The other grand prize winner will receive a pair of season passes to Dobyns-Bennett’s basketball home games for the 2017-18 season. Entrants do NOT have to be present at the time of drawing to win.

The 14 designated locations for taking selfies are:

  • Palmer Early Learning Center (1609 Ft. Henry Drive):  Flagpole (Midland Dr.)
  • John Adams Elementary (2727 Edinburgh Channel Road):  Front Entrance Sign/Water Feature (Edinburgh Channel Rd.)
  • Andrew Jackson Elementary (600 Jackson Street):  Fitness Playground (Main Playground Area)
  • Thomas Jefferson Elementary (2216 Westmoreland Avenue):  Front School Marquee (Westmorland Ave. by flagpole)
  • Andrew Johnson Elementary (1001 Ormond Drive):  Front Sidewalk Marquee (Ormond Dr.)
  • John F. Kennedy Elementary (1500 Woodland Avenue):  Front Entrance/Marquee (Woodland Ave.)
  • Abraham Lincoln Elementary (1000 Summer Street):  Front Entrance/Marquee (Summer St.)
  • Theodore Roosevelt Elementary (1051 Lake Street):  Front Entrance Marquee (Lake St.)
  • George Washington Elementary (1100 Bellingham Drive):  Inside Front Entrance/Rocking Chairs in front of George Washington Wall (Bellingham Dr.)
  • Ross N. Robinson Middle School (1517 Jessee Street):  Front Electronic Marquee (Jessee St.)
  • John Sevier Middle School (1200 Wateree Street):  Front Entrance/Brick Indian Head (Wateree St.)
  • Dobyns-Bennett High School (1 Tribe Way):  Front Entrance D-B Sign/Brick Wall (Ft. Henry Dr., Main Parking Lot)
  • D-B EXCEL (400 Clinchfield Street):  DBE Sign on Back Entrance Wall (Roller St.)
  • Cora Cox Academy (520 Myrtle Street):  Front Entrance CCA Sign (Myrtle St.)
